The world has been hit by Covid -19 epidemic. Thus, many different competitions cannot take place. Showing concern for grappling athletes as well as seeking the development and popularization of grappling sports, IFG has decided to introduce a new competition discipline from 2021 onwards, namely, the grappling technique demonstration competition held in a remote mode (Gi and Nogi).
The first such International Grappling Technique Demonstration Tournament is going to take place during 8-14 February, 2021. The competition will start on the 8th of February and end on the 14th of February, 2021. The results of the competition will be announced on the 22nd of February, 2021.
The jury will evaluate the following aspects of the performance: aesthetics, compliance with the etiquette of martial arts, complexity of the technique, accuracy of the performance of the technique. The winners of the competition will be awarded with medals, diplomas and prizes of www.grappling.shop store.
The number of participants is not limited. Participant‘s support fee is 20 euros. Representatives of other types of martial arts are invited to take part in the tournament and demonstrate their techniques.
